Letter to the editor
TO THE FORMER EDITOR EDITOR
Over the past ten years I have read many articles in CAMBRIA with great pleasure, and drafted emails in response, which were never sent.
This time however, I am determined to respond to the notice of your retirement You will be sorely missed, and a hard act to follow. From its inception CAMBRIA has been outstanding. I have looked forward to each issue, and marvelled at the variety, depth and scholarship of the articles.
The contributors have been impressive and I feel better informed about contemporary Wales because of what I have read. The journal has also been a tremendous resource, through the in-depth articles on aspects of Welsh literature and history. I always look forward to receiving it. The article by Jan Morris on marmalade in the previous issue was one which evoked so many memories for me here in Texas. It was a delight to read, but I never sent my e-mail response. This current issue does merit my response. May I also add my best wishes for your retirement.
